JJ went down to Florence Motor Speedway in South Carolina for a NASCAR Camping World Truck test. They told JJ that they wanted a tire run with consistent laps. Fast is easy for many drivers, but managing tires is what wins races. In the second session JJ did fifteen laps within a tenth of a second. After that the co-owner took JJ aside and told him the ride is his if he wants it. JJ is now working with their marketing agent to start finding more sponsors to help the team. They are going to try to run enough races this year to get JJ qualified to run on all sizes of tracks and then hit it hard in 2013. Happy faces here!

 

NASCAR has many safety rules for the driver. DJ Safety has always treated JJ well, but there are some things they do not do. JJ needs a new SFI 39.1 seat, a head and neck restraint system and his helmet wired for communication. We need your help. We need about $3500 to purchase this equipment. Don’t think your help would be to small. It all adds up.
